Children engaged in exciting after-school learning. Moms and dads committed to improving their parenting skills. Volunteers transforming North Rapid City with community gardens.
These are just a few examples of South Dakotans who are part of Community and Family Services.
Among Community and Family Services’ first efforts, in the 1980s, was reaching children who would benefit by after-school and summertime learning and recreation. That remains central to the division’s mission, and has made a positive difference for two generations of South Dakota children.
