Tyresha Grey Horse

Tyresha Grey Horse joined Black Hills Special Services Cooperative as a Family Engagement Learning Specialist. She comes from a career in Rapid City Area Schools as a 6th grade teacher at North Middle School. Earning her Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Grand Canyon University, she will always love the classroom. Being an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, South Dakota has and always will be home. With two littles in elementary school, she is a passionate stakeholder in public education. 

In her free time, Tyresha enjoys a menagerie of pets at home, including a hedgehog, two cats, a snake and a pet bird. She has a serious love of caffeine and has watched every episode of Judge Judy. She has been happily married to her husband, Maverick, and is patiently waiting to retire so she can be a Beekeeper.
