Alissa Adams

Alissa is a Family Engagement Learning Specialist in the Community & Family Services Division. She holds a Master’s degree in Information Media: Educational Technology and a Bachelor’s in English Education. Alissa is also a certified Library Media Specialist and holds over two decades of experience in the educational field ranging from K-12 to college to state government. Alissa’s professional interests include professional development, digital well-being, equity and inclusion, and approachable educational technology.
Outside of work, Alissa enjoys all things home, including renovation, interior design, and architectural history. She can usually be found listening to audiobooks or podcasts about history or true crime, scoring second-hand finds, book clubbing with friends, and hanging out with her husband, two teenage daughters, and three dogs.
