Afterschool or out-of-school time (OST) program professionals will have the opportunity to network and gain access to a wealth of resources at four upcoming Path2Impact launch events. Path2Impact is a project funded with federal dollars through the South Dakota Department of Education.
Erin Grant is a Path2Impact Learning Specialist in the Community and Family Services Division of BHSSC. She says she’s excited about the quality and depth of resources they are able to provide OST programs through Path2Impact.
Grant says, “These are all free resources available to any youth program. We have well over 400 resources, including lesson plans, self-paced leadership courses, and information on starting a program to sustaining it.”
She adds that the resources are especially helpful to youth programs looking to offer more educationally to their students: “These are robust lesson plans aligned with state standards, so for programs that don’t have the capacity to develop those materials, it’s done for them.”
